Update: Atlanta, Georgia CSEC Testing Center Has Relocated

March 7, 2019

The Atlanta, Georgia CSEC testing center has moved to a new location in the College Park neighborhood of Atlanta. Administration of USMLE® Step 2 Clinical Skills (CS) will begin at the new location on April 15, 2019.

Confirmation notices for examinees who schedule a USMLE Step 2 CS exam in Atlanta on or after April 15, 2019 will indicate the new location address:

The new test center location is one stop from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on the free high-speed airport SkyTrain. Please note that some mobile navigation/GPS services may not currently reflect the new location address. The searchable GPS coordinates are: 33°38'33.40"N 84°27'24.59"W

All CSEC Testing Centers Open and USMLE Step 2 CS Being Administered as Scheduled

All Clinical Skills Evaluation Collaboration (CSEC) testing centers (Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; Houston, Texas; Los Angeles, California; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) are open. USMLE Step 2 Clinical Skills (CS) is being administered as scheduled at all testing centers.

Street Name Change for Los Angeles, California, CSEC Testing Center

While the physical location of the Los Angeles, California, CSEC testing center is not changing, the name of the street on which the center is located is changing. Effective June 2, 2018, the name of the street where the center is located will change from “Sepulveda Boulevard” to “Pacific Coast Highway.” The City of El Segundo plans to begin changing the street signage in early June. However, until the change is complete, you may see signs for either street name as you drive to the center or as you use on-line maps and driving directions.

This is a street name change only. The street number, city, and zip code remain the same.

The street address for the Los Angeles center, effective June 2, 2018, is:

*Please note that some mobile navigation/GPS services are incorrectly stating that the address is in Redondo Beach. Please follow the directions on the Los Angeles Travel Information to ensure that your destination is in El Segundo.

A collaboration of the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG®) and the National Board of Medical Examiners® (NBME®), two of the world’s leaders in evaluating the qualifications of physicians and other health care professionals, CSEC is a leader in assessing clinical skills. CSEC tests all aspects of the clinical encounter, including communication and interpersonal skills, patient examination, spoken English proficiency, and clinical reasoning.

CSEC offers full-service development of standardized patient-based clinical skills examinations. It also provides customized consultation and faculty development services to clients worldwide and test administration services in its network of dedicated U.S. test centers.
